ZIA was created as a tribute to one of the great friendships of my life.
For more than 25 years, Zia has been my person, mentor, confidant and unwavering supporter. He is also Petrichor’s official Global Ambassador—a title we eventually gave him after years of being our very enthusiastic self-appointed one. His belief in Petrichor and the way he carries our story around the world have been monumental to our journey.
ZIA, a name associated with light in Arabic, could not be more fitting. Zia lights up a room. He embraces people, experiences and life with an openness that reminds us to keep dreaming, keep exploring and never become too comfortable.
And that is how this fragrance feels.
The first intake is luminous mandarin peel, bergamot, cardamom and spice, softened by citrus blossom. It then unfolds into blue lotus, jasmine, peony and rose, before settling into smoky woods, vetiver, sensual leather, oakmoss, amber, saffron and oud.
Layered, but by no means complicated.
A truly unisex scent, ZIA grounds, holds and protects you while giving you the courage to step into something new. Earthy yet luminous. Familiar yet unexpected. Sophisticated without taking itself too seriously.
